Kristina [Mayne] Floyd founded MayneStay Marketing after spending almost a decade serving lower middle market buyers and sellers at Axial. Kristina began her journey at the LMM deal sourcing platform with a focus on building the company’s event & conference program, starting with two events in two cities. Through top-tier production and a transformative marketing strategy, two summits quickly expanded into more than two dozen annual events in 21 cities, attracting thousands of deal professionals. Meanwhile, as a complement to Axial’s growing event offering, Kristina also molded an in-person marketing & business development program for members, helping to identify relevant industry events, meetings, speaking opportunities, and marketing tactics to diversify rolodexes and deal pipelines.

Kristina went on to run the marketing organization at Axial, overseeing the team that managed content, newsletters, email & social media campaigns, marketing automation, and lead generation. Over the years, she has developed not only a close (and substantial) network of buyers and sellers, but a unique set of specialized skills centered specifically around lower middle market marketing & business development.

Prior to Axial, Kristina built a foundation for her marketing career at multiple public relations agencies, assisting with in-house PR for Carolina Herrera, and managing the conference program at a small marketing publication.

Kristina has extensive experience with Salesforce and the Adobe Creative Suite, and is well-versed in multiple marketing automation tools, including Pardot, Hubspot, Eloqua, Wordpress, and a number of event & registration platforms.
